About Me

My name is Brian J. Elizardi and I am a higher education administrator who supports undergraduate business students at the Center for Academic Advising at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.

I started working in higher education in 2004 to help other students actualize their potential and succeed in school. Prior to starting my career in the social sector, I struggled through school and had a love/hate relationship with learning. After graduating with my masters in 2006, I started advising working professionals in graduate programs and now work with undergraduate students studying at the Freeman School of Business.

In my work I share my experience overcoming procrastination and the skills, knowledge, and abilities I learned to become a successful student, professional, and lifelong learner. This blog is a platform for me to share that experience and passion for ideas and learning with a larger community.

My wife and I currently live and work in New Orleans. You can follow me online through my social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Shelfari) and can get in touch with me through the contact page. Please stay in touch and consider subscribing (RSS, email) to receive periodic updates.
